This year's Annual Elk Festival promises to be the best ever!! It is our 25th year of celebrating our status as the Elk Capital of Michigan. State Street (M-32) will be closed for the entire weekend. Festivities will take place in the park and on the street. Beginning at 6:00 pm on Friday, September 25th , followed by the bed race and continuing all weekend long. Family fun for everyone - You?ll enjoy 3 entertainment stages, games and contests, such as the Elk Bugling, greased pig contest , lawn tractor race, talent show, adult pizza eating contest, bed race, beer tent & garden and much, much more! Food vendors and Craft exhibits will be throughout Atlanta and while you?re here don?t forget to check out our local eateries and shops.
