    Mardi Gras celebration with authentic Lousiana bands, costume contest with cash prizes, Cajun food for purchase by the Chili Brothers, cash bar. The Hot Tamale Brass Band will lead the costume judging parade and will play among the crowd between sets to keep the festival atmosphere. Featured bands for 2009 include: Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys, CJ Chenier & the Red Hot Louisiana Band, and Jeffrey Broussard & Creole Cowboys
