Now in its seventh year, the Taste, coordinated by the volunteer Des Plaines Special Events Commission, offers lots of FREE music entertainment, kids activities, the Des Plaines Art Guild’s 54th Annual Art Fair, plenty of great food, the Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s Home, Health and Consumer EXPO, a chance to participate in the Des Plaines Park District’s Chase to the Taste, a 5 K Walk or Run (whichever you prefer), and an opportunity to visit the History Center’s "40 Years of Collecting."
