For the past 8 years, Arts in Bartlett, the local arts council in this thriving Illinois community 35 miles northwest of Chicago, has presented Bartlett's only juried fine arts show. Arts in Bartlett, a dynamic all-volunteer nonprofit organization, prides itself on presenting high-quality, yet affordable fine arts and fine crafts in this highly anticipated annual event. It is free and held outdoors in quaint downtown Bartlett on a grassy area in the Town Center at Main and Railroad Ave. Free parking and local restaurants surround the area. The 2011 Arts Festival will be part of the 2nd Annual Bartlett Heritage Days, Sept. 9-11. Come celebrate ?the good old days? in quaint, downtown Bartlett. Classic Car show, self-guided tour of historic downtown Bartlett, live music, re-enactors from the 1880s, games and contests, bike parade, pet parade, bingo, Civil War drama, photo exhibit of historic buildings, and more in a 3-block area.
