.The Manteno Oktoberfest was the vision of a handful of volunteers over 15 years ago and originally spanned one block with food and entertainment. This event has grown from a small, one day event to an expansive four day festival that stretches over five blocks of Main Street, Manteno! The fest is run primarily by the hard work and dedication of a corps of volunteers and is now sponsored by the Manteno Chamber of Commerce.
