From Festival of the Arts Website: This year celebrate the arts in Heritage Park, situated in the heart of the S.E.A. District! The Festival of the Arts, hosted annually during the last weekend in March, offers endless blue skies, cool gulf breezes and a beautiful waterfront view of the beautiful Corpus Christi Bay, the jewel of the South Texas coastline. The 2015 Festival of the Arts, a free three day event, will again feature its signature event with the creation of a 15ft x 15ft Italian Street Painting by returning internationally recognized guest artist, Julie Kirk-Purcell. The Festival of the Arts will feature sales of one of a kind juried art of artists from across the nation, visual art exhibits,sand sculpting, workshops, live entertainment consisting of continuous dance & music performances, independent shorts and full length film/cinema screenings, lecture/demonstrations, folk arts, and the ever popular art-full KidZone for those 12 years of age and under.
