The La Salle County Wild Hog Cook-Off and Fair was first held in March of 1972 as a community project by the Cotulla chapter of the Young Homemakers of Texas. Now held annually the second weekend of March, the Wild Hog Cook-Off has grown into a weekend-long event packed full of good-humored family fun, contests, rodeos, and, of course, barbeque. Come be a part of a La Salle County tradition. No matter who you are, you're sure to go "hog wild" at the Wild Hog Cook-Off
