Rivers and Spires Festival, Inc is a three day outdoor festive event in Historic Downtown Clarksville. It features a night of patriotic tribute to military heroes, 6 stages of entertainment, International Streetfest, Kidz Zone, Jazz'N Wine area, car shows, parades, and much much more. Last year we had an estimated 36,000 enjoyed the music, great outdoors, food and of course people watching.
It was awarded the International Festivals and Events Association's Gold Grand Pinnacle at the 52nd annual IFEA convention and expo. This prestigious award sponsored by Haas and Wilkerson Insurance represents the top honor in the festival industry.
Rivers and Spires Festival is produced by the Clarksville-Montgomery County Convention and Visitors Bureau. The professional competition drew 1,506 entries this year from among the world's top festivals and events.
The festival also won a Tennessee Tourism Spotlight Award during the 2007 Governor's Conference on Tourism held on September 19-21 in Chattanooga. Spotlight Awards are coordinated through the Tennessee Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus and honor great ideas and concepts in the tourism industry. Also it has been selected by the America Bus Association as one of the Top 100 events in North America as well as by the Southeast Tourism Society as one of the Top 20 Events in the Southeast?.
