500 years of fun in a single day! Travel back in time to the 16th century, where Kings and Queens ruled the land and valiant Knights battled for the highest honor; when peasants and craftsmen, pirates and wenches, lords and ladies knew the meaning of "prithee"; and when the soft sounds of live music echoed through instruments of brass and string. Escape to the time when advances in technology were sketched by Da Vinci, stageplays were penned by Shakespeare, and the only mode of transportation available was by horse and carriage. 2009 festival days run on Saturdays and Sundays, from February 7th ? March 8th, with a unique theme scheduled for every weekend! Located at Quiet Waters Park, the Renaissance festival features full-day activities for men and women of all ages! Events range from archery to sword-fighting, acrobatic feats to comedy performances, and dancing to storytelling. Guests are encouraged to stroll through our village of craftsmen and artisans as they?re entertained by villagers and street performers. Children may play in the Kid's Kingdom while adults relax at the pub, mingling with minstrels and wenches. And all may enjoy our various live event stages, including daily jousting events!
